A great day was had at Cowdenbeath Football Club as Lodge Thane of Fife Cowdenbeath No 781 were the official match sponsors for their Scottish Cup tie against Highland league leaders Brechin City.
The lodge members enjoyed the hospitality of a meal and drinks prior to the kick off and refreshments at half time and full time. The hospitality was compliments of the RWM Bro Malcolm Slora a Director of Cowdenbeath FC. The match finished in a 1-1 draw but Brechin City went on to win 1-4 after extra time.
Lodge Thane of Fife also donated a cheque for £500.00 to Cowdenbeath FC by Malcolm Slora presenting the cheque to club Chairman Mr Donald Findlay KC. (Photo 1)
